2003-11-13 - 11:02 a.m.
It was dark and the air was cold. The damn Australian Shepard was darting around the backyard like a crazy person. I heard him growl at something so I ran and got my aunt. We stood there trying to get our eyes to adjust to the darkness. But we still couldn't see what was out there. I run back in to get my new handy dandy camera and take a picture of the darkness. When I go to review the picture on my little screen, I see two red eyes staring back at me. Away from the dog. So we freak.
We get my Uncle because.. well.. he's the one to call for things like this and he grabs the flashlight and heads out into the dark. We call out his name and are scared of what he'll find. He exclaims "OH GOSH. I FOUND IT." We scream and ask what it is....
Turns out our horrible monster was just the camera's flash reflecting in the bicycle's reflectors.
